Public Services Department

The Mount Horeb Public Services Department is responsible for the overall operation of over forty miles of Village streets, stormwater, development, and maintenance of Village parks, the Family Aquatic Center, and Village-owned buildings. The department also manages Village forestry including village-owned trees along Village streets and in Village parks. The department also conducts brush, yard waste, and leaf pickup.

Mount Horeb's park system includes a full range of developed facilities including neighborhood parks, community parks, and special use areas located throughout the community. Parks and open spaces provide a number of key functions including meeting residents' needs for recreation and aesthetics, protecting and enhancing the natural environment, shaping the extent and patterns of development, and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
