Q1) The weather is inclement, is our child's program still being run as scheduled?

     A: Cancellations of programs are updated on our Cancellation Line at (608) 437-3400 option 2 or on our Facebook Page - www.facebook.com/mthorebrecreation.  For evening and weekend programs, our volunteer coaches will make the decision to cancel and will contact participants.  There will be no makeups for cancelled programs.

Q2) If I have a Mount Horeb address, why am I considered a non-resident?

     A: If you live in the townships of Perry, Primrose, Springdale, and Vermont you are considered a non-resident because you pay taxes to the respective township and/or vote there.  If you pay taxes to the Village of Mount Horeb or vote in the Village, you are considered a resident. Q3) When does the next program guide come out?

     A: The Mount Horeb Recreation Department publishes THREE activity guides a year.  Typically, the summer guide goes out in mid-March, the fall guide goes out in mid-August, and the winter/spring guide goes out in mid-November.

Q4) What is your refund policy?

     A: A full refund (minus convenience fees if applicable) will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department.  Cancellations made before the registration deadline date listed are subject to a $5.00 administrative charge deducted from your refund or credit.  Refunds or credits will not be issued if you cancel out of an activity after the registration deadline. Please note that online convenience fees are non-refundable.  Refunds can be placed as a credit on your account or refunded by your original form of payment unless funds are not available for a credit card refund then a check will be sent.
